HISTORY
Tessa was born into a family of Meisters. Both families had lineage going back and forth from Meister and Witch. She was born in British Columbia, but quickly had been moved into Death City in the Nevada desert. Because she was an only child and her parents were not expecting any more, they were strict on her learning the very basics of her Meister abilities before stepping into the DWMA.Through her years, her parents had requested several specialists to train their child into the best that they could. One of the specialists had mentioned something odd about her Soul. Instead of the usual light blue hue, instead it was a maroon colour, darker than that of any Kishin or Kishin-Egg. Not only that, the shape and texture of the soul was always twisting and changing, similar to static on the TV. Not bothered with it for now, Tessa’s parents had moved her quickly to the DWMA once they viewed her as ready.
Upon entering into the Academy at the age of thirteen, Tessa was already showing promise as far as her Meister abilities were concerned. Sure, her ability to perceive souls was not all too good, but that was not her strong suit, nor was it something that her parents really trained her in. Her grades were steady and a little above average. Both of her parents were enlightened to see the high marks on her reports. The pink haired young Meister had successfully had made it to become a fully-fledged Meister. Then next thing to do was to find a Weapon partner. Since Tessa had not become too close with anyone, preferring to sketch in her sketch pad as opposed to interacting with her class, it had left her little people to actually have a connection with. When the time finally came to have a Weapon, she was without one at the end of the semester.
Her parents did not take too kindly to her not having a Weapon and immediately told her that the next semester she must try harder to build relations with her peers. Nodding and accepting her parents words of quick judgment towards her, Tessa knew what she must do to get a Weapon. The next semester had quickly approached and what those in her class had quickly learned is that she was extremely socially awkward. While introducing herself to her peers, she would not say anything else unless spoken to as well as not getting social cues as well as her peers.
When the time came to look for Weapons and Meisters within the class, Tessa had found a Weapon who had the same creativity output she had, through sketches. The Weapon was a Greatsword and had accepted to being Tessa’s Weapon. Upon trying to Resonate with each other, the Greatsword was immediately rejected. From what the Weapon had said, she had seen Tessa’s maroon coloured soul only for a split second. It was then that she saw the soul grow in size and she had felt a heat unlike she had felt before, along with an electrical shock similar to a Soul Purge.
At the mention of what had happened, Tessa was taken to the Soul Production Laboratories to see exactly what was with her soul. Through many tests, they had found that her soul rejects those who try to resonate with her. The lab assistant had told her parents that if she was to stay how she was, Tessa would never be able to hold a Demon Weapon. Taking the new founded information badly, Tessa decided not to let this get in her way to becoming a Meister. The only thing that she could think of was to further her abilities with her little magic that she could do.
Still going through her courses, Tessa had taken a few extra courses in Magic to get more efficient with her magical abilities. Through the semester, she had found a liking to her magical abilities. Through her magic, she could burn a path for herself to become her own kind of Meister, one who prefers magic to her Wavelength abilities.
Through her time at the Academy, Tessa had shown that she was a capable Meister, even without a Weapon. Although, the fact that she did not have a Weapon by now troubled her parents and therefore had brought her to have insecurities in her own abilities. She knew that she could do well, but her ever looking parents had other thoughts about her abilities. Through the years, Tessa had become a great Meister, rising to Class Two at the age of eighteen. While still not able to hold a Weapon within her grasp, Tessa’s Magic abilities had risen.
Two more years had passed and a new Weapon had come on board to join the Academy. A shy Weapon who had only entered because she was from a Noble Family who was known for their Multiple Weapon Transformations. One of Tessa’s teachers had suggested this Weapon for Tessa for a specific reason. Not only did the Weapon have Multiple Weapons, but she had a helpful Wavelength ability which could be the key to keep a Weapon within her hands--the Healing Wavelength.
The next morning, Tessa had met up with the Weapon, only to find some interesting information. For one, the Weapon, Yuki, was not capable of transforming at all upon reaching the Academy. Another reason, was that Yuki was not even sure she was capable of transforming. That was also a reason as to why she was placed in the Academy--to help her find her ability to transform into any Weapon. Being suspicious about if this would even work, Tessa had no other reason not to try. If it was something that would help her to become a Meister able to have a Weapon, then so be it. A few tries were required of the small Weapon, because of the immediate rejection of Yuki’s soul. However, third time’s the charm, as Yuki had calmed the ever-raging soul of Tessa’s, into at least a Soul that could be worked with, with a Weapon. Also, through this exchange, Yuki had found her first Weapon form, a sword that shone with the colour’s of their souls, pink and maroon.
With getting a Weapon for herself, Tessa was finally beginning to feel like a Meister as well as feeling like she could trust her new found Weapon partner, Yuki. Together they would challenge the world as they would see fit, to become stronger together as well as separate.

ABILITIES
Meister Abilities:
Pandora’s Wavelength: You know how a piece of music is? Always, usually, in 4/4 time as well as having a simple, steady beat? That would be a normal wavelength. Tessa’s wavelength is the complete opposite, being in an abnormal time signature like ⅞ and nothing is staying on beat or off beat. At one point it may be on beat but, then suddenly derailing to go completely off the beaten path. Because of her wavelength it would be hard for her to find a Weapon who can deal with the constant flux of the wavelength. It pushes those who try to become her Weapon partner away. The only way a Weapon can be with Tessa is if they have a Wavelength that can calm her always fluctuating Wavelength. The only Wavelength that has that ability would be similar to a Healing Wavelength.
Soul Perception: Soul Perception is used to see the properties of other souls as well as the person using Soul Perception. She can tell by the hues of the soul what type the person is, being a Meister, Weapon or Witch. She can only see about fifty feet around her through the ability.(Beginner)
Self-Resonance: Tessa can resonate with herself, not needing a Weapon to do so. When Self-Resonated, her strikes are stronger. (Intermediate)
Magical Abilities:
Vulcan’s Ignition: Because of Tessa’s soul is constantly in flux, she can use it to her advantage. When her soul changes significantly in size or shape Tessa can use that split second of time to send a punch or kick which is engulfed in flame towards the opponent. When readying this ability, she has to use Soul Perception on herself to read her own Soul in order to do the ability successfully.(Intermediate)
Explosion of Ra: With this ability, Tessa can cause an explosion to be sent anywhere within her eyesight of one-hundred feet or less of her. With enough concentration, Tessa can snap and create a cherry bomb size explosion. While only just beginning to train with this ability, she can make small ponds immediately evaporate, while a lake would take two or three Combustion to rid of it completely. (Beginner)
